Autumn

Its September 27. I think that means, at least here in Milwaukee, that it's supposed to be a little chilly. But we got lucky and its sunny today and in the 70s.

To celebrate, I went apple pickin' yesterday. I absolutely LOVE picking apples. Its become somewhat of a autumn ritual for me, always trying to seize the opportunity on of the year's last really great weather days.

For the next few weeks I'm going to be busy enjoying the yummy goodness of these:
I love love love baked apples. Thank you Williams Sonoma for my apple peeler/slicer. Seriously, I eat massive amounts of baked apples. I toss them with generous amount of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg-- with just a touch of brown sugar when I am wanting that extra sweetness. Then bake to a perfection. Mmmm...

Now I need to shower and be off. My friend has been asking me periodically over the years to take my photo. Today is the day. Then later a dinner date with my bartender that has been asking for the better part of a year. I guess today is my day to give in to these requests...

Now, what to wear??
