neighbors

my neighbors are realling into "liking eachother." they are "liking eachother' pretty hardcore right now. they move out tomorrow. which will be kinda nice. a bit quieter. but at least they are enjoying eachother and apparently happy (at least at times.)

happy its humid, showing my summer knees

Today is going to be amazing. First hot and humid day without rain. Or so I think. But its hot and humid and not raining right now. And I'm stoked. So stoked that I got up way early when I went to bed way late. I could totally sleep in til noon, as I don't work til late, but im too excited.

I'm going to the park. You know you want to have a picnic with me. If only my e-crush and I acted a little sooner and bought a ticket right away instead of hesitating for a half hour, he could be here picnicing with me for the weekend. Bummer that deals disappear so fast on orbitz. Oh but I will go "up north." I love Wisconsin. I love "up north." Pretty much my life is at home.

I wish the world was flat like the old days...

So the last week...

Bought a ticket to Bangkok. Will meet my bff there for 3.5 weeks of travel and partying. Then she comes to Milwaukee for two weeks. I'm stoked. I miss that girl soooooo much. Funny how last I saw her was on our way back from Prague. Next time I see her will be in SE Asia.

Got a roommate. yeah, thats part of the reason I am able to go on the aforementioned trip. Found her on craiglist. I love that site. thats how i got my sweet cleaning jobs, too. Anyway, she moved in Sunday. Just for the summer. Which won't be as bad considering I will be gone for three and a half weeks of that. Plus this weekend im going "up north" and next weekend to Minneapolis.

i still have an e-crush. hope he will come here soon. we seriously need to get teleportation machines working, or go back to the old days when the world was flat and people could travel just by folding a map. i want to just fold a map and jump to california. jump to LA and then jump again to SF. thank you ben gibbard.

and yesterday i was on locust street at oakland ave. and a doe came running down the street. right down oakland ave. it was insane. and sad. a lot of people were out on the street because it was warm and a little after 7 pm. everyone just looked around baffled. i hope shes alive. even though we have too many deer i guess. thats the pro-hunting argument at least...

weather

i seriously am amazed at how much weather affects my mood. since spring came, i am infinately happier than i was in winter. its dramatic. and as incredibly happy as i am to be back in milwaukee, complete with personal space and a crazy-good social life, i wonder if i really want to stay here and continue to endure the evil death winters...
